Everything you need to know about the STRONG project
Structured Tasks, Real Outlooks, New Goals
In the STRONG project we aim to support young people in the school setting who are disengaging from school, their learning, their friends and their family; young people who are struggling with
issues including anxiety; and young people who, for a variety of reasons, don’t behave well in the school setting or who just need a little extra support.

We use a range of techniques including deep discussion, art, photography, journaling, and sport & exercise, alongside a selection of creative learning experiences to re-engage, re-energise and reignite their interest in school, their ability to maintain positive relationships and their understanding of the positive options they can create for their future.

We empower them through offering creative projects, chances to explore their thoughts and beliefs, practical skills, imaginative tasks, and life enriching challenges that will encourage them to develop
and flourish.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where I work and live. I pay my respects to the Elders of the past and those of the present.
I celebrate the stories, culture, knowledge and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
and acknowledge their deep connection to the land, rivers and oceans we are on.
I respect that this land always was and always will be traditional Aboriginal land and maintain the hope that we can work together to celebrate and truly acknowledge this fact.
